Hydrotherapy
Canine hydrotherapy is a form of water therapy directed at treating chronic conditions, injuries, post-operative recovery, and the general fitness of dogs. The warm water allows for white blood cells and oxygen to be brought directly to injured areas, promoting faster healing and recovery times. Hydrotherapy allows for exercise to be underwent without the pull of gravity putting pressure on injuries and/or joints, allowing for greater maneuverability without any pain. Top Dog is one of very few facilities in Ontario that have both a heated, indoor pool AND underwater treadmill to accommodate a range of issues and achieve a multitude of goals!
